Part III is here, part III is here. The wait is finally over for those of you who have been patiently waiting for part III to the series of questions that seek to get up close and personal with yours truly on LIFE. If you are just tuning in, we have learned about whether or not I have loved, what my demons are, what motivates me, and the things and people who bring me down, amongst other things. NOW I invite you without further adieu to the third and final portion of the III part series. (I encourage all to please feel free to answer all the questions from the three part series for your personal fulfillment.)
21. If you were to leave the world today, what is your manifesto? (what would you tell your child(ren)?
If I were to leave the world today I would want my child to know that I lived and I loved.
22. What makes you come alive? What ignites you?
I come alive when I am with the ones I love and or doing the things that I love ie: singing, dancing, entertaining, and creating. Passion ignites me and it is the kind that grips on to you with a fire, suddenly, yet is familiar, raw, and honest way.
23. What are your most painful memories?
My most painful memories involve witnessing or taking part in there being an absence of respect between individuals which then in turn creates an absence of safety.
24. Why do you eat the way you eat and why?
I eat the way I eat, which would be pretty balanced because when I was about 19 I had to learn the hard way that my body needs a lot of fiber just to function on a daily basis. I will spare anyone the details of the backstory.
25. What ignites your brain?
Food for thought in addition to the literal nourishment found in food.
26. What physical exercise makes you feel it like you mean it and enjoy both the process and the afterward feeling?
I would say dancing if it can constitute physical exercise. I love how I feel as I am dancing and afterwards because it is so freeing and liberating.
27. What does your body need in order to function at its best?
My body needs to be fed physically, spiritually and emotionally to function at its best.
28. What feeds your spirit? What gives you goosebumps? What makes you fall to your knees in awe and weep?
What feeds my spirit is living for His glory. I get goosebumps when I hear, experience, or see truth being played out honestly. Living a truthful life is enough to make me fall to my knees in awe and weep.
29. What are you proud of so far? What have you accomplished?
I am proud so far of my new role as someone’s mom…it has been five years and still I am doing okay in the nicest of ways. I have accomplished, let me see, being a mom, maintaining lasting and meaningful relationships, becoming a published author at 25, Finding as the Founder a student organization at 20, and I am most proud that I am still here…the enemy had plans to destroy me but as a survivor I can humbly say that “I’m still here, Praise God.”
