Up Close and Personal with Gessie Belizaire
I was born on what many refer to as the ides of March which corresponds to the 15th of March, and without going too much into history, marked the turning point in Roman history. Well any who, in light of my birthday that passed, not too long ago, I decided to share with my followers and or viewers a 3 part series where I the blogger will share answers to 29 intimate questions about my life journey thus far. Without further adieu welcome to the first of a three part series.
1. How much have you loved?
I have loved so much yet in the same breath I can also say not enough. I don’t believe The Father of love is done with me yet. He is not done showing me what love in its purest form is like to give and receive.
2. What do you love doing that you aren’t doing?
What I love to do but rather yet am doing but not at the capacity in which I would like to be doing it, is to, through my leadership skills, bring people together for a cause to see and experience their full potential.
3. What person or type of person would you choose as your life
companion?
My life companion is someone who is open, honest, and intentional about all aspects of his life. He is also someone that accepts the Lord as the center of his life and who can build a foundation for his and his families’ life based on that principal.
4. Where do you want to live?
I want to live somewhere that forces me to be uncomfortable mainly because of its unfamiliarity. I truly believe it is only then can you really begin to challenge yourself/potential self to greater heights.
5. What do you want to accomplish? And most importantly, why—what’s
your motivation?
I want to live a flowerful, meaningful and purposeful life and I want to raise my child (ren) to do the same. I want these things because it gives my life and my time here on earth much more meaning and it prepares me for the better part of life that I have yet to experience. My motivation lies in the belief that the ultimate sacrifice made by my Lord and Savior brought life to my life and to the lives of my brothers and sisters.
6. What do you want to be remembered by?
I want to be remembered as someone who was unafraid to live, to go against the grain, and who lived intentionally.
7. What kind of life are you striving for if not the life that you
are presently living?
I am striving for a life that provides me with all the successes in life that bring me happiness/ yet that are also pleasing to The Lord and that cannot be brought solely with money/riches.
8. What adventures do you want to have?
• I want to travel (see the world)
• I want to be comfortable with allowing adventures to happen
organically
• Be daring (ie: ride a mechanical bull)
9. If you had to add something to humanity, what would your
contribution be?
My contribution to humanity would be to shed light to the lives of many living in darkness. Through my light I hope people find encouragement to live better, more productive, purposeful lives.
10. What are your ghosts or your unspoken demons?
Unspoken demons – being powerless and having little control of my emotions or my mind at times…now just that thought alone scares me to submission.
